Infer-A Royalty. Born from the union of a demigod son of Attamar, and a Succubus mother, Hekket of Setting Sun was the runt of his family.

Middle school level education, but is a near-obsessive reader of books so he absorbs a lot of information. His best friend is also an actual genius so he picks things up from her.

Hekket was born in the hell realm, Infer-A to one of the 13 royal families. He is the third youngest of the 10 children of Theristis of Setting Sun and Arya Quintavella. His father, Theristis is the sitting head of the Court of Infer-A, or in simpler terms, he is the king of kings of the hell realm. Theristis is the son of a peasant mother and the God of Might, Attamar, making Hekket one-quarter divine. This close connection to divinity magnifies his demonic abilities to be hundreds of times stronger than those of a regular demon.

However, Hekket was a weak and sickly child, and his family, particularly his father and his eldest full brother, constantly abused him. The abuse was verbal and physical, to the most brutal of levels. Hekket, being a demon, could regrow body parts with time, but that did not take away the pain of being impaled, dismembered, and or disemboweled on a near-daily basis by his eldest brother, Keidon. His father, however, was not much better. He constantly belittled the young demon, calling him a failure for not being as strong as his siblings, locking him in dark cells for weeks with no food forcing him to become stronger to break out, and having his brothers beat him relentlessly as he saw beating his children as beneath him but saw nothing wrong with encouraging his children to beat their siblings. He even had Hekket work as a slave for the Burning Star clan.

Surprisingly though, something positive came out of that last one, he met his lifelong best friend Jirain of Burning Star while working the same job together multiple times. Hekket and Jirain would become inseparable and when they were allowed to, would attend school together.

Throughout his childhood, he only had two people he could rely on, his mother, Arya, and Jirain. Arya was forced into a marriage with Theristis and hated her husband, so as a slight to him, as soon as she saw signs of Hekket's development of a spirit weapon (a manifestation of a demon's soul into a powerful weapon), she partook in a ritual to send both Hekket and Jirain to the mortal realm to save them from the literal hell they had lived through for the first 12 years of their lives.

In the 12 years, he has lived amongst the mortal races, he has befriended and become somewhat a part of the royal family of the largest kingdom of Meladina: Akkadia; brought down a cult or two, befriended a goddess, befriended an angel, and remained best friends with Jirain this whole time.

He always wears darker and baggy clothing to hide how small his frame is, his default look being a long black coat over a black turtleneck, dark grey pants, and platform shoes which add 2 inches to his height.

His spirit weapon is a fully black longsword that he can summon with a thought and materializes with sparks of red electricity. Hekket can channel immense amounts of magic through his sword. In adulthood, he unknowingly surpassed his siblings in strength, speed, and magical ability.

However, the years of abuse still haunt him, with him being reluctant to resort to violence for anything and being numb towards the world. He has nightly nightmares which make him barely able to sleep and thus he is almost constantly tired. He cannot help but be always on high alert as he feels unsafe in his own skin and is prone to anxiety and panic attacks. And although he has a few trusted friends, he has difficulty making friends with people because he cannot help but feel unsafe around them. One thing about Hekket that should not go unmentioned though is that he is fiercely protective of those he loves and hates seeing anyone around him suffer in any way. He is a kind soul at heart but just has a tough time expressing said kindness.
