Chaotic Good / Tristan is very much an impulsive person, and would do anything for his friends, no questions asked, even if it destroyed things in the process.

Tristan is very warm and lighthearted. He's kind of like a dad to all of the younger LGBT+ students at the high school, and he runs the school's GSA. He's casual and open about his sexuality, often cracking jokes about it. He almost always finds a way to wear some form of rainbow every day. Most students just know him as "the openly gay kid". Tristan is also naturally funny and has almost always been the comedian of the class or of the group. He calls himself a "disaster gay" because he's quite a mess when it comes to his personal life. He uses acronyms for everything and anything he can. He befriends people extremely easily, but doesn't really ever go beyond the very polite and superficial stage of friendship with people.

Tristan's hair falls in his eyes often, so he flicks his head to get it out of the way a lot.

He's pretty much always seen chewing gum when he's not eating.

Tristan is very social. Everyone in his year knows him and most of the younger years do too. He's incredibly popular even though he doesn't like to think of it that way, and almost everyone he knows sees him in a positive light. He befriends people super easily.

It's hard for him to open up about his true emotions to people. He barely trusts anyone.

To see the day when LGBT+ people are accepted as a normal and unchangeable part of society.

Tristan is afraid of emotional attachment and falling in love, and is very solitary as a result. If he meets a guy, as they get closer as friends, he may distance himself if he thinks he may be catching feelings. When he does fall in love with someone, he feels a lot of unexplained guilt and frustration towards himself.

Tristan thinks that anyone against LGBT+ rights or women's equal rights is absolute scum of the earth.

Tristan stays up late a lot, and doesn't really ever get tired until around 10 or 11 p.m.

He also buys things and doesn't use them, and collects random objects (e.g. acorns, flowers, bottlecaps, bottles of nail polish). As a result his room is very cluttered and full of knick-knacks. It has a cozy, eccentric feel.

Tristan is quite good with technology and computers, and doing nimble-fingered things like sewing, fast typing, making bracelets, etc.

Tristan lost his left calf (just above the knee and down), in an accident that happened when he was very young, and he now uses a prosthetic. (He has two: a realistic-looking leg that he doesn't use often because it's less comfortable, and a more practical one that he wears day-to-day.)

Tristan's voice is very musical and raucous. He speaks with a lot of emotion, and his laugh is higher-pitched and very contagious. He also has a slight lisp.

Tristan was born of a Senegalese-American father and a Dutch mother, and grew up in a suburb of Eindhoven, a large city in the south of the Netherlands. He lost his left calf in an accident with his bicycle at the age of 8 and started using a prosthetic. He began questioning his sexuality when he was around 13, and came out about six months later. His parents completely accepted him, which was of great importance because he experienced prejudice from classmates if they found out he was gay, adding onto what he already received for his skin color. His family moved to California just before he started high school. Around the age of 15, he fully accepted himself and became the out-and-proud advocate he is now.

His mother is a kindergarten teacher, and his father works for a major telecom company. They're active parent figures to kids that don't have that kind of person in their lives, especially people in the group such as Jamie Makrodimopoulos, Ben DeBattista, and Faith Yankovic.
