Nadia grew up in Yora, a city that was once in the running to be the capital of Fawynne. As such, she never really had to want for much, especially since her father served on the council. Her papa was a very well respected witch and elf who did work for the council in the past. Nadia is actually one of his experiments too. Their papa wanted to see if it was possible to give someone two different types of magic.

Being their only child, Nadia is expected to live up to both of those legacies. They’ve studied the history and politics of the different regions extensively, as well as the basics of witchcraft.

When Yora was attacked (by Nova and Zip), their father was killed instantly- having been the target of the attack- but her papa was able to get her out and send her down the river on some rubble. He didn’t make it. She would have drowned if it wasn’t for her magic.

The last things she has to hold onto from her dads are their hopes for her future, and she can’t fail them. Her arc is about accepting herself as she is, imperfections and all.
