Elle’s human form is athletic, but not super-human. Her werewolf form has enhanced senses, speed and agility, and strength. She also is harder to hurt and has claws. Elle is skilled in all fighting styles that don’t involve weapons.

In Kepia, being related to the chief doesn’t give you any power and doesn’t promise you a future position. Elle doesn’t care whether or not they become the chief like their Ren, they just care about playing their part, whatever that happens to be. There is absolutely nothing they won’t do for their family, and they consider their family everyone who relies on them.

Elle’s Ren, Kris, took on the beliefs of their own parents. Three years ago, they had just barely fought their way back from the edge of total destruction. Kris and Hemming’s generation was raised to fight back and protect, and they passed that down to Zelde. It’s the way Kepia has survived.

Zelde often neglects themselves to take care of others, but in a way that goes unnoticed as it’s not outwardly destructive. Their arc centers around learning their own self-worth.
