She is a hard worker who is dedicated to her duty as ruler, but she often stretches herself too thin and is known to take her stress out on those around her. She believes wholeheartedly in using her position to improve not just her kingdom, but the entire land, which sometimes leads to her swerving out of her lane, but ultimately she cares about all people. She is very passionate about improving the world technologically, and hasn't lost her love of science despite barely having the time to do personal research.

Zelda desires to rebuild and improve her kingdom as best she can out of love for her people, and out of overwhelming guilt left behind from not being able to stop Calamity Ganon in the first place.

Zelda feels immense guilt over not being able to unlock her power in time to save her kingdom from Calamity Ganon, and that guilt often drives her to overwork herself and be taken advantage of by others under the guise of helping her achieve her goals. She also struggles with empathy and often lashes out at others who aren't as capable as she is when it comes to what she feels needs to be done, and is considered to be a harsh taskmaster and an unreasonable perfectionist by those who work for her.

Zelda was the princess of Hyrule 100 years ago who had the sole task of unlocking her sealing power to defeat Calamity Ganon. When her mother died of illness before she could teach her, Zelda had to learn on her own, and became frustrated when she failed. While she was prone to anger due to her frustration, she tried to hold on to her inner compassion, and took her other duties as Princess seriously. When Calamity Ganon inevitably attacked, she unlocked her power at the 11th hour thanks to her love for her knight, Link, and spent the next 100 years holding Ganon back. Now, she is the rightful heir to the throne and responsible for leading not just her kingdom, but the whole world into a new era of peace.
