Barely has any respect for athority
Elleen is an accomplished swordsman much like her father, and she's quite handy with a bow. She's better than her father at maneuvering the Master Cycle Zero and is capable of performing some death-defying stunts, and she is a talented horseback rider.
Although she's not the best at forming the Light Bow, she managed to transform it into a new weapon: the Light Bomb.
Sword-fighting, adventuring, bar fights, drinking
Elleen is the textbook definition of a strong, independent woman who don't need no man, and the rebellious teen. She's adventurous and a tomboyish swashbuckler who loves getting into sword (or fist) fights, booze, and swearing, much to the chagrin of her mother. She holds her father in high regard and hopes to one day follow in his footsteps and become an adventurer, but she is contemptuous of her mother, who she believes wants nothing more than to suppress her spirit. Despite her rough-and-tumble nature, she takes her role as Princess seriously, and dutifully tries to be a symbol for Hyrule, and not just for the haves, but also for the have-nots.
Tomboyish and a bit of a brat, but compassionate towards the plight of poor people and women.
- picks her ears
- bites her nails when nervous (she has horrid hands because of this and is compelled by her mother to wear gloves in public)
- puts her hands on her hips often when she's speaking to someone, much like how Link will hold his belt
Elleen wants to be recognized as an accomplished swordsman and adventurer just like her father, and prove that women can be just as brave and strong as men.
Elleen has been known to be very bratty, and tends to lash out at others when she's upset. She's hates not being able to do as she pleases, and her rebellious spirit often gets her into trouble. She regularly fights with her mother over her wild nature, and she automatically loses respect for anyone who tries to tell her what she can or cannot do. Elleen is also jealous of her twin, Rupert, believing that their parents are much more lax with him just because he's male and next to the throne, and she sometimes goes out of her way to get him comeuppance for his shortcomings.
Despite her bravado, she suffers from debilitating stage fright; when it comes time for her to perform her duties in public, or make a speech, she fumbles from nerves and fear of failure.

History
Elleen was born to Link and Zelda after multiple miscarriages, and was named in the tradition of naming all Hylian princesses Zelda, as well as for both of her late grandmothers. At a young age, Elleen took a shine to the art of the sword, and she and her father became very close as a result. At the age of 8, Elleen quickly got the hang of her sealing power, and the ensuing jealousy from her mother caused a rift in their relationship that would not be mended for years after.
As Elleen got older, she became more rebellious and wild, often sneaking out of the castle to go on adventurers both in the city and outside its limits. Her parents tried to assign royal knights to help restrain her, but as she aged, the amount of time a knight stayed with her shrank. She was notorious for being difficult to control, and she even went out of her way to make her knights look bad so that they would be forced to take a new position, earning her the reputation of being unmanageable. But all of that changed at 16 when she met Sir Erin Aldin, the young soldier who saved her life when he took an arrow who's path she accidentally strayed in front of.
She was assigned Sir Aldin, and after initially trying to get him to quit, she began to take a shine to him when she realized that he wasn't trying to control her, only make sure that she was safe. Eventually she fell for him in the same way that her parents fell for each other, at least until it was revealed that her knight in shining armor was actually a woman. At first, Elleen felt hurt and betrayed by Aldin's secret, but after Aldin saved her life yet again, and after some soul-searching on the ramifications of loving another woman, Elleen decided to get into a relationship with her female knight.
At 17, Elleen set out to complete the Princess's Rituals at the Springs of the Goddess. At the Spring of Wisdom atop Mt. Lanayru, she accidentally married herself to Aldin in a bout of passion using a long-forgotten ritual.
When Dinah was captured for her crimes against the kingdom and she was possessed by Din, Elleen helped to seal her away when her mother was killed in the ensuing battle, and went on to become the crowned queen after Rupert was killed and Theodore decided that he was too young and unfit for the throne.
