He was born half-Fae, never knew his mother. His father was a kind man, there was a constant company in his home his father had a lot of friends. Caspian made friends easily but always felt out of place. His power laid undiscovered for a while, his father thought he had been born without one. But one day, Caspian cut open his knee in an accident. His magic surged at the pain and he was able to heal himself. His father thought it was amazing and immediately helped him get training, not from another Fae but from another healer. Together, the healer Fara and him figured out what his magic could and could not do. She taught him how to heal, and he became incredibly skilled. Fara became a mother to him. She got him a job working in the palace at 15, where he met Karan. The two instantly connected and Caspian confided to Karan about his power, and in return, Karan confided in him about his and Verena's plans. Caspian became a major part of the team they were building. But when Caspian turned 16, his father became sick with a plague deemed incurable. Caspian used all his strength, Karan standing by his side the whole time, for months to try and heal his father, but nothing worked. Three months into his sickness, his father passed. Caspian was devastated and secretly hated himself for the fact he couldn't save him. He hated his power, though it was useless because what's the point of being a healer if you can't fix the most important person. He's been incredibly lost but hides it behind a smile and jokes, not even Karan knows about the pain Caspian is being put through.
