Inara grew up in a tumultuous time her people besieged on two sides by the Stanzgarinas and Orcs, until the two finally broke the largest army her people had ever mustered and the fengalin like a group of cornered cat scattered, then the aggressors turned on themselves with the stanzgarians turning on the Orcish people and taking their land and people into slavery, few would escape, later still her parents would join a noble hero in his fight against the aggressors from the riverlands, which is how she ended up with a new brother, he was different than her his skin green, and his teeth jutting from his mouth but she loved him just the same, the two of them would stay in the fengalin forest for most of the rebellion, and once the war was over they would begin to travel the countryside in an attempt to remove the magical bindings put on her brother when the stanzgarians enslaved the orcish people, eventually they would find their greatest ally in a group of cocky adventurers working out of Traders Rest and thus they joined the Order of the Greykeep
